The department, through its OPD clinic and indoor facilities, provides solutions to all eye problems. It runs a Refraction clinic in the OPD. Eye Clinic also deals with diseases of the anterior and posterior chamber of the eye. The Dept is equipped with a modern slit lamp, auto kerato refractometer, and Applanation Tonometer. It is also equipped with an indirect ophthalmoscope to diagnose diseases of the retina. A-scan ultrasound is used to determine the power of the IOL that is put in the eye after cataract surgery. The common eye surgeries done are micro-incision Phacoemulsification cataract surgery, pterygium surgery, chalazion surgery, etc.
